We’re Going Back to the Woodline

haint blue w/ haunt teat.
We lean in to limbo
running broody w/ tincture
your Oil of Olay            crystal ball mugshot
your big dog intuition.

Our nerves are frayed                        at seven commandments
we relapse, tarnish bells.
We meditate hate            a rotten girls’ night            or a turkey farm.

What roller rink crown
what tintinnabulation
what desperados
what faith masturbation?

We dangle a cross                        from our white web
our straw hats                        our bone crowns.
Our fire trail is smashed            fat yet sexy.

Light helps us recover
but you say our pleasure
will never grow long

clinking clearheaded
into quadrangled
objective oblivion.
